Exact or estimated?

Exact Every mine layout that fits the revealed numbers and the total mine count is counted, and each cell shows the share of those layouts with a mine there.

Estimated When the frontier is too tangled to count in time, weighted random layouts that fit the clues are sampled instead. These numbers carry a ~, can be substantially wrong and have no guaranteed error bound. Only the check and mine markers are certain.

Suggested move When no cell is certain, the ringed cell aims for the best chance to win the whole game, which is not always the lowest risk. Exact means every layout that fits the clues was searched. Otherwise it is an estimate from simulated games on sampled layouts, with no guarantee. It is only a hint: autosolve never plays it.

Flags are your notes. The solver and the move advisor do not treat them as mines and never look at the hidden layout.

How to play

Open every cell that is not a mine. A number tells you how many of its 8 neighbors hide mines.

Autosolve flags proven mines and opens proven-safe cells until a guess is needed. Choose your first cell, then pick among the remaining odds whenever it pauses. If you survive, autosolve continues. It never guesses or trusts sampled 0% / 100% estimates.

Click Enter Space Reveal a cell. On a number whose flags are all placed, open its other neighbors (chord).
Right-click F Flag or unflag a hidden cell.
Flag mode or long-press Flag cells on a touch screen.
Arrows Home End Move around the board. Ctrl+Home and Ctrl+End jump to the corners.

Your first reveal is always safe. Mines are placed only after it and never in that cell or its neighbors, so the first click always opens an area.
